Comments:
Always try, if you fit the criteria. Good company. Beware of not being insured if you have an accident whilst over the drug or drink limit.
Company summary:

• Always competitive on drivers with less than maximum no claims discount.

• Not competitive on under twenty-one year olds at the moment. Good value on protected no claims discount although excess is increased.

• Charge extra if you have children under 16 years of age. Charge extra based on length of residency.

• Good discounts if you have additional drivers over 30 years of age with good length of driving experience without problems ie claims and points on licence.

• Better rates for females with male additional drivers and males with female additional drivers.

• Charge extra if you have been involved in an accident in last 3 years, even if it is NON FAULT.

• Expensive breakdown cover.

• Good company. Sales staff can be over aggresive.

• Claims have to be declared in the last 3 years with Admiral Group (5 years is the norm).

• The Admiral Group are very slow at giving refunds to clients for cancellation of policy etc. (seems a bit unfair as they are very quick at taking clients money for new policies and renewals etc.).

• Named drivers now earn no claims bonus with the Admiral Group.

• Client's tell us that they were charged £14.50 by Admiral for a wrong spelling of their surname and another client tells us that they were charged £14.50 to change to a cherished number plate.
