Company summary:

• Currently market leaders for drivers under 21 years of age. Better deals are often available by adding on a mature driver ie. over 30yrs of age with no accidents or convictions (usually mum or dad).

• Churchill are now charging £10 for windscreen repairs (previously free).

• Mature drivers use Privilege, better rates, better policy.

• Rates for vans used for non business purposes are good.

• Not much else to offer.

• The Direct Line Group have a habit of increasing compulsory excess at renewal without properly explaining or highligting this on the renewal notice. They also impose automatic renewal of policies without properly telling their client.

• Named drivers now earn no claims bonus with the Direct Line Group.

• Churchill are not reducing no claims bonus if the vehicle is damaged due to vandalisim.
