Very competitive throughout 2008.

Company summary:

• Much more competitive recently.

• They seem to have found their competitive edge after 18 months in the wilderness.

• When purchasing a policy beware of compulsory accidental damage excess, as Halifax seem to have more of these than most other companies.

BEWARE
• Halifax tend to impose a compulsory excess on most vehicles, this needs to be added to any voluntary excess that you have requested.
