If your requirement is near to their standard amounts i.e. you need buildings cover of £950,000 and contents cover of £120,000 it might be adviseable to look at Direct Line, Churchill or Virgin for your buildings cover and Liverpool Victoria for your contents as you are maximising their standard amount.
Claims in last three or five years
Companies ask you to declare previous claims, either in the last three years or five years.
Therefore if you have had a claim between three and five years ago you need to look at companies that ask for details in the last three years only, and you will not then be penalised, probably finding your best deal. |
