The Matthews Guide has been compiled after extensive research of the UK travel insurance market.
We felt that there was enormous confusion caused by the massive advertising campaigns of the giant insurance companies, often using misleading statements.
We therefore decided to find a way of putting all possible information together for our clients to make a considered decision when buying their travel insurance.
Our aim was to put together a simple format which anyone can use and benefit from, and have the ability to be totally honest about the insurance companies as we are totally independent.

The insurance companies that we recommend are the major forces in UK motor insurance but not all of them are always competitive at the same time. By following the formula you will catch the right company at the right time and find your best price, or very close to it.
A few major insurance companies have been expensive throughout 2008 and generally still represent poor value for money. If you are insured with these companies you really need to check your renewal prices urgently.
