UK home insurance has an annual turnover in excess of £5 billion. It is therefore a significant income to the insurance companies that write this type of business.
No two insurers offer exactly the same cover and you need to look carefully, to ensure that you are buying what you want, at the best price.
Over the last two years we have seen very few problems from the companies in our guide, and we consider them to be the best quality for home insurance, in the UK.
The best three insurance companies over this period have been judged on price, quality, claims, staff and ease of use (phone or internet).
