Discovery break-failure
Thanks to Dr. Adam Davidson who tells us that he purchased a top of the range Land Rover Discory which cost around £50,000 last year, and the vehicle has had several brake-failures during this period.
Dr. Davidson is particularly concerned as he has four young children all of whom were in the car when he had the first problem.
"The brakes failed going down hill and he was forced to go into a tree in order to stop the vehicle, causing damage to the vehicle and distress to the children travelling in the car."
He tells us that after many calls to the dealership and manufactureres, he still is extremely worried about driving around in this vehicle and he is disappointed at the lack of real interest in solving this serious problem.
We would have thought that a quality, expensive product like this would have merited better service to a regular buyer. |
