The pursuit of civil claims in connection with your home relating to matters such as nuisance, trespass, negligence or material damage, providing the incident is not covered under any other policy.
Employment
The pursuit of claims against an employer for matters of unfair dismissal, discrimination or breach of your contract of employment.
Consumer
Any contractual dispute arising out of a contract entered into during the period of insurance by an insured person where the amount in dispute exceeds £250.
Tax Protection
Protection against a detailed examination by the Inland Revenue into your personal and private tax affairs.
Financial Services
Compensation Scheme
IGI Insurance Company Limited are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if they cannot meet their obligations.
This depends upon the type of insurance and circumstances of the claim. Most insurance contracts are covered for 100% of the first £2,000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim.
